About the Journal

Aim

Ennoia Advances in Social Science, Technology and Education is an open-access journal focused on publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research articles that explore critical intersections between social science, social technology, and social education. The journal fosters interdisciplinary research that examines how societal dynamics, technological advancements, and educational practices influence one another.

Scope

Our scope includes a broad range of disciplines, such as sociology, psychology, anthropology, political science, economics, educational technology, digital learning, social media studies, and gender studies. We prioritize research that investigates the societal impact of technology, the evolution of educational systems, and the political, economic, and gendered dimensions of these changes. Accepting only original research articles, the journal encourages submissions that offer new insights or challenge conventional thinking within these interconnected fields.

Our primary audience includes researchers, academics, and practitioners engaged in the study of social science, technology, and education. We cater to professionals seeking to advance their knowledge, contribute to scholarly discourse, and stay informed on the latest developments in the intersection of these fields. Whether you are an early-career researcher or an established academic, we provide a platform for sharing innovative research and insights with a global community.

Publication Frequency

We follow a running issue publication model, allowing articles to be published continuously without waiting for a fixed schedule, provided there are thematically aligned manuscripts in the publication queue. The journal also supports publish-on-demand (POD) issues for grouped articles, with a minimum requirement of five (5) publish-ready articles per issue, as each issue must contain at least five articles prior to release.

Processing Time

  • Initial Screening (Pre-Review): within 1 week after receiving the manuscript
  • Peer Review: 1 to 4 weeks after initial screening

Author Charges

Ennoia Advances in Social Science, Technology and Education is committed to open access. However, to support website maintenance and long-term archiving we charge the following:

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): Free (No charge for peer review or processing).

  • Submission Fee: None.

  • Hosting & Archiving Fee: A nominal one-time fee of $45 USD is charged only upon acceptance of the article. Waivers are available for authors facing financial hardship, especially in the third-world countries.

  • Billing: Upon acceptance (Paypal, Wise, GCash, Landbank)

Copyright Terms

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  • Copyright Retention: Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication.

  • Author Rights: Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

Ennoia Advances in Social Science, Technology and Education applies the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) to all published articles.
